Combining rich, dark chocolate with the earthy flavor of oats, nuts, and a sprinkle of sea salt, this dark chocolate seal salt granola recipe is the perfect balance between indulgence and nutrition.


Ingredients

Scale

3 cups gluten-free rolled oats

1 cup chopped raw nuts (almonds, pecans, and walnuts are best)

2 tbsp chia seeds

3 tbsp coconut or organic cane sugar

1 tsp sea salt

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup coconut (or avocado) oil

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together until well blended.

Transfer the mixture onto a backing sheet lined with parchment paper, spreading out to an even layer.

Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes until fragment and lightly browned.

Let cool completely before adding chocolate chunks or chips.

Store in an airtight jar or zip lock bag.
